Centurion Product Catalog
An accessible way for sales to showcase a wide variety of medical instruments to medical professionals.
Overview
Centurion Medical Products had a large outside sales team that needed to showcase instruments to medical professionals in the field. They wanted to digitize a massive catalog of printed materials which were often outdated and costly to maintain.
Solution
The UI was built as an SPA web application and designed to accommodate both desktop and iPads. Special considerations were given to iPad performance as 4G mobile would be the most common scenario with the sales team.
The backend was a REST API built on C# WebAPI. The API was integrated with the companies existing SAP catalog.
The end result was a easy to use web application that was able to reflect up to date product images and information as products were added and removed from the SAP inventory system. Sales was very pleased with the result because they didn’t have to carry extra materials and could show instruments specific to the customers specific medical needs.
